Why We Can’t Cancel Third-Party Bookings

    These platforms often impose penalties on us if we cancel a booking, which can be 3 to 5 times the booking amount. This penalty is not something we can absorb, and it is beyond our control.
      
  • No Direct Control Over the Cancellation Process
    The cancellation process is managed entirely by the platform. As hosts, we do not have direct access to modify, cancel, or approve cancellations through these platforms. You will need to follow the platform’s cancellation process or contact their support for assistance.
      
  • Non-Refundable Options
    Many OTAs offer discounted or cheaper rates for non-refundable booking options. If your booking falls under this category, it is non-refundable once confirmed. This is clearly stated in the booking terms and conditions on the platform, and we are bound by these policies.
      
  • Exclusive Reservation of the Room
    When you book with us through an OTA, we block the room exclusively for your stay, meaning we are unable to rent it out to other guests. This means that any cancellation causes a financial loss for us, as we cannot accommodate other potential guests.
