Paradise Homestay – Guest Policies

General Terms and Conditions

  • International guest (nationality outside India) – We do not host guests with nationality outside India.
  • All guests must present original, valid photo identification (passport, driver’s license, or voter ID) at check-in. The primary guest must be at least 18 years old.
  • Children under 5 years may stay free of charge without an additional bed. Extra charges may apply for meals and services
  • Pets, smoking, and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited on the property.
  • We reserve the right to take appropriate action if any guest’s behavior is deemed inappropriate or if any complaints are reported.
  • Discounted bookings cannot be modified. No refunds will be issued for early check-out at discounted rates.
  • To confirm arrival, we may contact (Phone call, SMS, or WhatsApp) guests before check-in. The booking may be canceled if we do not receive a response after multiple attempts.
  • We may contact guests for feedback after their stay to help us improve our services.

Booking Extension Policy

  • Extension of stay is subject to availability and will be charged at the current room rate, which may differ from the original booking rate.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made at least 7 days before the check-in date: Guests can cancel their booking up to 7 days before the check-in date for a full refund, minus processing fees (see Refund Policy below).
  • Cancellations within 7 days of check-in: The full booking amount will be deducted as a cancellation charge.
  • No-shows or cancellations on the check-in date: If you cancel or fail to show up, the full booking amount will be forfeited as a no-show charge.
  • Mid-stay cancellations: If you shorten your stay before 7 days and by 11 AM, you will be charged for one night. If you shorten your stay after 11 AM, you will be charged for the next 8 nights. Refunds will be given for the remaining nights (after deducting cancellation fees).
  • Advance Payment Requirement: 100% of the booking amount is required as an advance payment to confirm your reservation.

Refund Policy

  • For Indian Payments: A 10% refund processing fee will be deducted. For example, if you paid INR 100.00, we will refund INR 90.00 and deduct INR 10.00 as processing charges.
  • For International Payments: A 25% refund processing fee will be deducted. For example, if you paid USD 100.00, we will refund USD 75.00 and deduct USD 25.00 as processing charges.

Refunds will be processed within 15 working days and credited to the original payment method. Actual refund timeline could vary depending on the guest’s payment provider.

Payment Policy

  • For stays longer than 7 nights, guests must settle payments on a weekly basis. Additional accommodation will only be provided upon settling outstanding balances.

Early Check-in

  • Charges for early check-in are as follows and are subject to availability:
    • Before 6 am: Full day’s charges as per the previous day’s rate.
    • 6 am to 8 am: ₹500.
    • 8 am to 11 am: ₹300.

For guaranteed early check-in, please consider booking the night before.

Check-out Policy

  • Our standard check-out time is 10 am. Late check-out is subject to availability and incurs additional charges:
    • Between 10 am and 12 pm: ₹300.
    • Between 12 pm and 02 pm: ₹500.
    • After 02 pm: Full day’s charges as per the next day’s rate.

Visitor Policy

  • Entry of visitors into guest rooms is strictly prohibited. Visitors may use the common areas but are not allowed in guest rooms.

Damages and Liability:

  • Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property or its furnishings during their stay. Any necessary repairs or replacements will be charged accordingly. We are not liable for any personal injuries or loss of property during your stay.

Noise Policy:

  • To ensure a peaceful environment for all guests, we enforce Silent Hours from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please keep noise levels to a minimum during these hours. Disruptive behavior may result in action being taken.

Internet and Connectivity:

  • Complimentary Wi-Fi is available for all guests. We request that the Internet be used responsibly and for lawful purposes only. 

Fire Safety and Emergency Procedures:

  • For your safety, please refrain from using personal heating or cooking appliances in guest rooms. 

Parking Policy:

  • Unfortunately, there is no parking facility available at the property. Please park your vehicle on the roadside at your own risk. We are not responsible for any damage, theft, or loss that may occur while your vehicle is parked.

Room Cleaning and Linen Change Schedule:

  • Room cleaning and linen changes are scheduled between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM. For room cleaning, please notify us in advance.

Lost and Found Policy:

  • We are not responsible for any lost or misplaced items. However, any items found after guest check-out will be stored for up to 24 hours.  After 24 hours, unclaimed items may be donated or disposed of.

Additional Charges for Special Requests:

  • We are happy to accommodate special requests such as room decorations or additional honeymoon bedding, subject to availability. Please note that these services may incur additional non-refundable charges, and advance notice is required to arrange them.
